"Subsidies will be provided to manufacturers in the amount of 15% of the cost of equipment (including VAT), and in the case of equipment sold to buyers registered in the Siberian and Far Eastern Federal Districts, the Republic of Crimea, Sevastopol and Kaliningrad region - at least 20 % of the price of equipment (including value added tax)," the explanatory note says.

According to the representative of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the measures taken should stabilize the volume of production and sales of equipment, promote production growth, and preserve jobs.
