On May 29, within the Startup Village 2019, Dmitry Romanenko, Chairman of the Board, CEO of Omsky Biocluster, held a meeting with Alexander Okunev, the head of the Skolkovo Foundation regional development department.

"The Skolkovo Foundation has today become the core of the national innovation system, a part of the environment of Russian and international business. Skolkovo residents team include guys from the Russian regions and from abroad. Omsk, in turn, is a students city, and, of course, Omsky Biocluster is interested in forming a system of interaction between Omsk accelerators and Skolkovo system.
Achieving the goals and objectives of the Russian Federation national projects implies advanced technological development, the creation of startups with their subsequent commercialization. That is why the parties agreed to discuss the possibilities of Omsk startup institutes and acceleration programs, including the Omsky Biocluster StartUpAcademia.
