Saratov Biotechnologies plans to launch the plant in 2022

The construction of a complex for the deep processing of wheat for the production of amino acids Saratov Biotechnologies began in the Saratov region (Balashov) in December 2019. "Now the foundation works have been completed, the framework of the engineering building and the grain warehouse is being built," says the founder of the company, Vadim Gataullin.

It is planned to launch production, designed to process 250,000 tons of wheat per year, in 2022. The enterprise will produce 65,000 tons of lysine chloride, as well as 90,000 tons of protein feed additives, 20,000 tons of bioethanol, 20,000 wheat gluten and 20,000 tons of carbon dioxide (CO2). The volume of investments is estimated at RUR 20 billion ($ 262.56 million).

The complex will be practically waste-free, since almost all waste will be sent to the bioethanol production plant in the amount of 20,000 tons annually. Carbon dioxide in all technological production processes will be collected, purified and liquefied (for further use, for example, in the production of carbonated drinks, beer).
