January 2018, the updated Ranking Web of Universities (Webometrics-2018) was published. Omsk State Agrarian University (member of Omsky Biocluster) took 10 491th place among 27 000 universities of the world, 290th position - among Russian universities (from 1 197 educational institutions).
The rating includes 23 agricultural universities (including 2 branches). Omsk State Agrarian University occupies the 9th place among them. Also OmSAU became the 5th in the number of 15 Omsk educational institutions, present in the rating.
Information. Webometrics Rating is the largest academic ranking of higher education institutions. It is calculated since 2004 by a group of employees of the National Research Council (Spain) on the basis of an assessment of the popularity of Internet resources in the academic environment and the level of scientific publications of employees.
