Omsky Biocluster proposed to change the public procurement legislation

On January 31, a meeting took place between the Omsky Biocluster CEO Dmitry Romanenko and the head of the General Directorate of Public Procurement of the Omsk region, Natalia Dokhvat. The parties discussed the Omsky Biocluster proposals for amending the current legislation on public procurement in order to increase the transparency and quality of the institution of public procurement.

In particular, the proposals are aimed at encouraging bidders to improve the quality of the products supplied by setting the minimum price of the lot, as well as eliminating the conditions for the 'forced' recognition by customers of fulfillment of obligations by unscrupulous business entities.

The parties agreed to continue efforts to study the Omsky Biocluster initiatives within the framework of the activities of the Public Council under the General Directorate of Public Procurement of the Omsk region.
