On December 25, 2018, the Small Hall of the Government of the Novosibirsk region became the venue for the XXIIth solemn Award Ceremony on the results of the preliminary stage of the International Competition 'Best Goods and Services - GEMMA - 2018'. According to the results of the conclusion of an independent expert commission, Sladonezh Confectionery Factory (Omsky Biocluster member) received the highest score: waffle candies glazed (Bang Bang trademark), confectionery glaze and non-glazed wafer candies (Derevenkovo trademark).
The event was attended by CEOs and leading managers of companies from almost all regions of Russia. 118 companies were awarded gold medals for high quality (nominations 'Services', 'Industrial products and goods for industrial purposes' and 'Food product group'). During 2018, these companies received positive feedback from independent experts, and now, having received the honorary status of the Winner of the Qualifying (Regional) stage, they will enter the Final Competition 'Best Goods and Services - GEMMA'.
The next stage for the gold medal winners will be participation in the Final of the International Competition 'Best Goods and Services - GEMMA', the results of which will be announced in April 2019.
