Wheat harvesting in Russia is almost complete

As of October 29, grain and leguminous crops in Russia were threshed on 43.8M ha (in 2017 - 45.2M ha), which is 97.4% of the planned area. 113.4M tons of grain was harvested (in 2017 - 135.1M tons) with a yield of 25.9 c / ha (in 2017 - 29.9 c / ha).

 

In particular, at the reporting date, wheat was harvested at 26.3M ha (99.1% of the plan), 73.2M tons of grain were harvested at a yield of 27.8 c / ha. Barley was threshed from an area of ​​7.8M ha (98.6% of the planned), 17.6M tons were harvested at a yield of 22.4 c / ha. Corn for grain was threshed from an area of ​​1.9M ha, or 77.8% of the sown area. The sunflower was harvested on 6.7M ha (84.5% of the plan), 10.7M tons of oilseeds were threshed at a yield of 15.9 c / ha. Rapeseed is threshed on 1.5M ha, which is 94.3% of the plan.
