In 2020-2021, several major investment projects in the dairy industry in the Moscow region will enter the final stage.

"It is important that the projects implemented in the suburbs bring significant benefits to residents: new jobs, additional budget revenues. Over 1700 people will be able to get jobs in 14 new industries, and investments will exceed  RUR 55 billion ($ 0.86 billion). When attracting investors to the region, the Government is closely monitoring to ensure that the business fulfills its social function," said Vadim Khromov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Moscow region Government.

In two years, four objects of the cheese cluster being created will be commissioned. The total production volume will be 15,000 tons of cheese per year, which is a quarter of the total volume of such products in Russia. Already, the Moscow region ranks second in the country in the production of cheese and cheese products. "The dairy industry of the Moscow region is growing at a faster pace: eight milk production facilities will be launched in the next two years, over 10,000 cows and 14,000 goats. There will also be two processing plants that can produce 2350 tons of milk per day," said Minister of Agriculture of the Moscow region Andrei Razin.
