Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Ivan Lebedev held a meeting with heads of educational and scientific organizations subordinate to the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia. The meeting discussed the issues of improving the system of financing agricultural education.
Ivan Lebedev noted the need for active participation of educational and scientific organizations subordinate to the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, in grants of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation. "The Ministry of Agriculture of Russia is ready to support universities in attracting industrial partners for joint applied scientific research and participation in competitions for grants," Ivan Lebedev said.
Recall that the Omsk State Agrarian University (member of Omsky Biocluster) formed and functioning mechanisms to support innovation activities of scientists, graduate students and students. The mechanisms are represented by the OmSAU business incubator, laboratory databases and equipment, as well as Omsky Biocluster StartUpAcademia, which carries out activities on structuring startups and searching for industrial partners.
