Altai will grow high-protein crops

The Ministry of Agriculture of Altai Territory held the regional seminar for the white lupine cultivation.

White lupine is a high-protein crop that is promising for Russian crop production. Lupine grain is a highly nutritious food for farm animals. It is assumed that the high-protein supplement based on lupine can partially compensate for the deficiency of fodder protein in the country, as well as reduce the costs of the livestock sector.

Note that in 2017, white fields were planted with 16 farms of Altai Territory.
