Since 2011, an artificial insemination station operates in Tavrichesky district of Omsk region. In 2016, 124 heads of cows were inseminated in the district.
The artificial insemination point is the main place where work is carried out for the herd reproduction and observation in personal farms. Artificial insemination of cows (in comparison with natural), is a more productive method of obtaining offspring. The seed is obtained in advance from the breeding bulls and stored frozen.
One of the items on artificial insemination of cows is the point in Priirtyshskoye village in Tavrichesky district of Omsk region. Insemination by use of special equipment is made by veterinarian Angela Bugaeva, helping the owners of private farms in 10-15 minutes to inseminate cows.
Angela Bugaeva: "Mostly I work with cows of black and motley breed.The cost of insemination of one cow is 500 rubles ($8 - 9), and this price pays off in due course. My goal is to improve genetics so that highly productive offspring will turn out."
Angela Bugaeva has established herself as a good and responsible specialist, has regular customers. The proprietress of the private farmstead Nina Vnukova, who has one cow and thoroughbred calf, born after artificial insemination, is satisfied with the work of a specialist: "Thanks to the well-coordinated work of our Angela, the settlement has fewer problems with insemination, large calves and healthy bulls are obtained."
In general, 124 heads of cows were inseminated in Tavrichesky district in 2016. The most active work is in Priirtyshskoye village, where 18 heads are now inseminated, and in the Pristanskoye village, there are inseminated 31 heads of cows.
