China abolished restrictions on foot and mouth disease on the importation of 49 regions of Russia of artiodactyl animals and products from them, Rosselkhoznadzor reported. This is one of the stages of abolishing restrictions on the supply of meat products to the PRC from Russia, TASS reported.
"The Central State Administration for Quality Control, Inspection and Quarantine of the Ministry of Agriculture of the People's Republic of China recognized the status of 49 Russian regions as free from foot and mouth disease without vaccination and allowed the importation into China of artiodactyl animals and products from them that meet the requirements of laws and regulations," the Rosselkhoznadzor reports.
These decisions are an implementation of the agreements between the leaders of the two countries - Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping - to strengthen Russian-Chinese relations of comprehensive strategic cooperation and partnership, the development of mutual trade between Russia and China.
