Cluster of mechanical engineering will be created in Perm

Manufacturers of agrimachinery in the Perm Region are planning to create an industrial cluster with the participation of domestic enterprises (Krasnokamsky RMZ, Navigator NM, Bolshaya Zemlya, Tekhnograd) and Russian representative offices of foreign companies (BCS Group, Sitrex, Enorossi), 'Agro.ru' reports.

The foundations for the creation of the cluster appeared 20 years ago, when Perm companies received licenses of foreign companies for the production of agricultural machinery for the first time and created joint ventures. With the passage of time, enterprises connected with agricultural machinery manufacturers appeared in the region. This year the government of the region made a proposal to give the association an official status and register at the federal level.

Dmitry Teplov, Head of the Organizing Committee of the AgroMash-2017 Summit, Director of Krasnokamsky RMZ:

"We have only two or three regions, in which clusters of agricultural machinery are organized. Perm Territory is among the first regions to decide on the development of this industry. The presence of an association of agricultural producers is one of the advantages of the region for foreign companies that are considering the possibility of localizing production in Russia. The cluster demonstrates that all the conditions for accommodation and development in this place are created. It's true: we have suitable platforms, good production infrastructure and personnel. In addition, our region has an advantageous geographical position and proximity to the markets that will attract foreign manufacturers to the territory of the region."

Note, Omsky Biocluster includes three enterprises that produce equipment and machinery for agriculture, food and processing industry: Omsk Experimental Plant FSUESaturn-Agro Research and Production Enterprise LLC and Technocomplex Production and Commercial Firm LLC.
