June 7, 2017 Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Russia Evgeny Gromyko held a meeting on the development of sectoral programs identified by the priority project 'Export of Agricultural Products'.
Sectoral export programs should contain an analysis of existing and planned deliveries abroad by types of agricultural products. The programs will also include information on export destinations, indicating existing barriers, prospects for overcoming them. In addition, the developers should determine the estimated volumes of state support for exports with a financial and economic justification. Evgeny Gromyko drew attention to the need to carefully study the sections that determine the participation of micro, small and medium-sized agricultural enterprises in exports and the specifics of their support.
Juices, canned fruits, confectionery, honey, wild products, berries, fresh, canned and dried mushrooms, nuts, as well as medicinal and technical raw materials can become promising segments of export cooperation," the Deputy Minister said.
