June 16, 2017 in Nanjing (China), Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Russia Evgeny Gromyko met with the leadership of agricultural departments of Brazil, India, China and South Africa, reported the Press Service of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia.
Evgeny Gromyko noted the dynamics of growth of export supplies of Russian agricultural products to the markets of Brazil, India, China and South Africa, as well as mutual interest and the availability of potential for increasing supplies by Russian enterprises. In particular, the Chinese market is interested in the supply of poultry and plant products, the supply of fish - Brazil, grain and livestock products - India, animal products and rice - South Africa. Agreements have been reached to conduct appropriate inspection work at Russian enterprises by interested foreign partners.
Evgeny Gromyko invited the heads of delegations of the BRICS countries to the 19th Russian agro-industrial exhibition 'Golden Autumn', which will be held on October 4-7, 2017 in Moscow. Foreign partners expressed interest in participating in this event.
