Excess of benzapyrene content was revealed in soil samples

Experts of Omsk Reference Center of Rosselkhoznadzor as a result of tests in one of the soil samples revealed an excess of benzapyrene content.

Experts of Omsk Reference Center (member of Omsky Biocluster) noted that benzapyrene is formed by the combustion of hydrocarbon liquid, solid and gaseous fuels. The substance in the environment accumulates mainly in the soil, less in the water. The main sources of benzapyrene consumed by humans are: ambient air, tobacco smoke, heating (burning wood, coal or other biomass), road transport, asphalt, coal-tar resins.
