Hohhot: Russia, China and Mongolia Cooperation Forum

In recent years, trade and economic relations between China and Russia are developing rapidly. China has become the largest destination country for the export of Russian food products, and Russia, in turn, has become the largest supplier of crude oil and electricity to China. This was reported at the China-Mongolia-Russia Cooperation Forum (Hohhot City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, PRC).

For seven months of 2017, the foreign trade turnover between China and Russia increased by 25.5 percent compared to the same period last year. As of the end of 2016, China's non-financial direct investments in the Russian economy reached $ 24.02 billion. In parallel, large Chinese-Russian strategic projects are being implemented, which has become the foundation for optimizing the trade structure and transforming the development model.

In 2016, the China-Mongolia-Russia Economic Traffic Construction Program was signed, which is not only an important vector for deepening trilateral cooperation in all areas, but also a bridge connecting the East Asia and Europe business.

Omsky Biocluster at the Forum was represented by Logistics and Foreign Economic Operations Center, created with the support of the Government of Omsk region and the Omsk City Administration to ensure the foreign economic activity of enterprises in Omsk region and surrounding regions as a universal operator.
