The First National Forum 'Import Substitution-2017' is taking place in Moscow. Mikhail Sutyaginsky, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Titan Group, a member of the General Council of the All-Russian Public Organization Business Russia, spoke at the session 'Development of Industrial Clusters and Industrial Technoparks in the Framework of Import Substitution'.
Speakers of the event discussed strategic issues, including the impact of industrial clusters and technology parks on import substitution.
Mikhail Sutyaginsky noted in his speech that the cluster with the basic large enterprise ensures employment of small and medium-sized businesses, research institutes, engineering centers and forms a close interconnection between them, allowing the production of goods, in the first place - import substituting, in a short time. "This year we are completing construction work within the framework of the phenol and acetone production reconstruction, next year we will start the isopropyl alcohol production project.In the future we will create an interregional (petrochemical - ed.) Cluster with the Republic of Bashkortostan, together with which we plan to create capacities on the production of a line of import-substituting products, "said Mikhail Sutyaginsky.
Summarizing, Mikhail Sutyaginsky expressed his opinion on the current measures to support clusters, and also initiated the simplification of the procedure for including enterprises from other regions in clusters. Director of the Association of Clusters and Technoparks Andrey Shpilenko, who acted as moderator of the session, supported the initiative of Mikhail Sutyaginsky.
Information: The national forum 'Import Substitution-2017' is held for the first time within the framework of the 3rd international specialized exhibition 'Import Substitution'. The program of the event unites more than 30 thematic tracks on various industries. The exhibition and forum were also attended by key government figures - the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev and his deputy Arkady Dvorkovich, the Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov, the Minister of Economic Development Maxim Oreshkin.
