The main outcomes of cluster development of Omsk region summed up by the Board on investment activities of Governor of Omsk region, held on October 25, 2016.
Until the end of October it is planned to complete the work on updating the main directions of development of the cluster. Control and personal responsibility for the work of the ministries for the development of priority clusters Governor Viktor Nazarov laid to deputy chairmen of the regional government. At a meeting of the Council for Investment and Development of Competition analyzed the causes that prevent clusters run at full capacity and to seek federal financial support. "A number of objective and subjective reasons, did not allow us to complete the creation of clusters in full. At the same time in the development of regional industrial clusters provide substantial funds. We could count on the support and should not miss the opportunity to bring it," said Viktor Nazarov Governor. Strategy of development of Omsk region was envisaged development of the four clusters - agribusiness, oil refining and petrochemical industry, the timber industry and the cluster of high-tech components and systems. Preparing conditions for their establishment was carried out in 2013-2015. In the middle of last year, the Government of Russia approved the basic requirements for industrial clusters. Financial support is provided by the federal budget only those clusters that meet these requirements and are included in the register of Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. In this connection, the decision to reformat the operational activities in the direction of the cluster development of Omsk region. Currently, work is being done on the creation of clusters corresponding to the approved requirements. Until the end of October the project office for the implementation of the Strategy of socio-economic development of the region in cooperation with the authorities responsible for the development of clusters, is planned to complete work on the actualization of the main directions of development of the cluster. All further work on the development of the priority clusters will be organized through the system of project management. Each direction for the development of clusters will be detailed in the projects, projects - on activities and events - at specific stages, the results and milestones.
