Leningrad region began exporting dry egg products

Leningrad region has started exporting poultry products to Europe and the CIS. The total volume of delivery of dry egg products to these states by the end of 2017 will be over 400 tons.

 

The Roskar poultry farm after the reconstruction began the operation of the production of deep processing of eggs. According to Governor Alexander Drozdenko, modernization will allow the production of products that meet international standards. The issue of export to the countries of the Middle East is being considered, the website of the Ministry of Agriculture informs.

 

Leningrad region is leading in the Russian Federation in the production of eggs. Regional enterprises produce about 3 billion eggs a year. This is 6.2 times higher than domestic consumption.
