Moscow region in 2018 will begin to subsidize the construction of grain storage facilities, said the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Moscow region Andrei Razin.
"This year we have, on the one hand, a record harvest in the region, and on the other hand, there is a problem of storing the harvest, so next year we are launching a new program to subsidize the costs of creating grain storage facilities," Andrei Razin said. He noted that now there is not enough grain storage capacity.
The authorities of the region plan to compensate 20% of the costs for the purchase of silage cans and equipment for grain drying within the new program. The form of support will be regional, the funds will be allocated from the regional budget. "The funds of about 150 million rubles ($ 2,564.54 million) have already been pledged," the Minister added.
