Omsk State Agrarian University is a participant of ERASMUS MUNDUS IAMONET V

June 22 - 23, 2017, the final meeting dedicated to the completion of the Erasmus Mundus Action 2 Partnership IAMONET-RU V Project was held at the Warsaw University of Natural Sciences (Warsaw, Poland). The academic exchange program between Russia and the countries of Europe (Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, Italy, Netherlands, Austria, Sweden) exists since 2007 and aims at the process of convergence and harmonization of higher education systems in Europe, the growth of career opportunities for students, establishment of permanent cooperation between the EU and Russia universities.

 

The OmSAU delegation (member of Omsky Biocluster) was represented at the meeting by Head of the International Relations Department of OmSAU Nina Kazydub and ERASMUS MUNDUS IAMONET V Project Manager Olga Tarabanova.

 

The program of the meeting consisted of six sessions, which were consistently held within the framework of the two-day program of the event. The project coordinator Julia Fitzthum (University of Hohenheim, the Project beneficiary) presented a report on the 10-year history of the ERASMUS MUNDUS IAMONET Project and its main achievements: 1,200 students and university professors from Russia and the EU received grant support for training and internships abroad 90 participants (trainees, professors and teachers, academic staff) were students and employees of Omsk State Agrarian University.

 

Erasmus Mundus Action 2 Partnership IAMONET-RU V Project is a unique experience of sustainable international cooperation between agricultural universities in Russia and Europe. This small 'window to Europe' has changed the lives of more than a thousand young people and has become a great help for the development of cooperation between higher education institutions.
