The virtual laboratory of wheat breeding process was created in Omsk State Agrarian University (member of Omsky Biocluster). The development allows you to get acquainted with the list and main characteristics of wheat varieties of OmSAU breeding in an interactive mode, to clearly see the stages of the selection process and the influence of various factors on the results of selection of wheat varieties.
The application was created within the framework of the grant of the Russian Science Foundation. The purpose of the development is to show in the popular scientific form a complex breeding process of grain crops, the main task of the application is to visualize the wheat breeding process. The product allows to demonstrate in an interactive form to the applicants and students of the OmSAU how the breeding process of grain crops takes place. Everyone can download and install a mobile application on their mobile device and take advantage of it.
