The Minister of Agriculture and Food of Omsk region Maxim Chekusov told about the dynamics of the harvesting campaign in the region and outlined the tasks for the agrarians at the conference call with the heads of municipal districts and the heads of the agricultural administrations.
As of September 12, 2017, grain crops were threshed 1,278.5 thousand hectares or 60% of the harvesting area (in 2016 - 1,200.9 thousand hectares or 55.4%), about 2 thousand tons of grain have been threshed the average yield is 15.2 c / ha. The issue of pricing and grain quality was also discussed on the selector: for today, wheat of grade 3 with gluten is dominated by 23 to 27%.
