Omsk Agricultural Enterprises got acquainted with the harvesting corn technology by the flattening and preserving. This technology allows increasing the productivity of livestock and improving the quality of milk.
Specialists from more than 40 enterprises took part in the seminar at Solyanoe LLC in Cherlaksky district. These farms are considering the issue of increasing the area of corn crops for grain next year. Feed with good exchange energy will increase milk production. Viktor Belevkin, the head of Solyanoe LLC, shared his experience of applying the corn flatting technology (500 tons of flatting corn this year). He considers Omsk region as a pioneer in the technology of corn flattening and notes that sales market increase requires an information campaign with livestock farms.
The Minister of Agriculture and Food of Omsk region Maxim Chekusov told about the agricultural machinery used for grain flattening:
"These machines do not limit the productivity of combine harvesters, crush corn grain and make preservatives. High-quality stored corn grain will give a good milk increase when fed in winter."
According to experts, the advantage of the technology for corn flavors is that it does not require drying, but immediately allows it to be crushed.
