The delegation of Omsk region, headed by the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Omsk region Maksim Chekusov, takes part in the 'Russian Field Day' in the Republic of Tatarstan. This year more than 1000 representatives from 73 regions and more than 300 enterprises take part in the event.
Representatives of agrarian regional bodies held a meeting on harvesting and quality of crop production. Maksim Chekusov talked about the results of the sowing campaign and the prospects for the development of agriculture in the region:
"Omsk region is an agrarian region, the government of the region pays considerable attention to the agricultural sector.The production volumes of the main types of food products in Omsk region allow not only to fully meet the needs of the region, but also to supply products to other regions of Russia and for export."
It should be noted that for the first time, the Minister of Agriculture of China Han Changfu visited the Russian Field Day to familiarize himself with the export potential of the regions.
