August 27 - 28, 2017, a Chinese business delegation visited Omsk region. The delegation includes the leader of seed oil production Luhua Group Co., Ltd and Baoshang Bank Limited the large bank of China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
Chinese guests visited agro-industrial enterprises of Omsk region. The main areas of Luhua Group Co., Ltd and Baoshang Bank Limited interests are the seed oil supply to China and investments in the agriculture and food processing industry. Head of Omsky Biocluster's Logistics and Foreign Economic Operations Center Evgeny Kolyagin:
"Logistics and Foreign Economic Operations Center was established with the support of Government of Omsk region and the Omsk City Administration as a universal operator to ensure foreign economic activity of enterprises in Omsk region and nearby regions. We are satisfied with the dynamics of the development of relations with our Chinese partners - in the first half of 2017, the mutual foreign trade turnover increased almost twofold compared to the same period last year and amounted to about 43 million dollars."
August 28, 2017, a meeting of the business delegation in Government of Omsk region. Summing up the meeting, Minister of Economy of Omsk region Oksana Fadina noted the importance of mutually beneficial economic relations:
"China is one of the priority foreign partners of Omsk region, and we are interested in creating new joint ventures, including in agriculture. Government of Omsk region is ready to provide all the necessary support to prospective projects."
