“Today, many of us discuss the importance of scientific commercialization in agricultural production. At the same time, it is also important to pay due attention to the way the scientific knowledge is delivered to the regional agricultural producers. Omsk SAU keeps up with the times by introducing new format of information and consultation support. We have designed a new web-site (http://open.omgau.ru) where agricultural producers are able to find useful reference information, take a look at works of leading consultants and place an order for any kind of consultation.”
An additional point is that Omsk SAU scientists participated as speakers in workshops on Farming and Fodder conservation. The scientists spoke about the issues of cereal crops resistance to illnesses and drought, challenges of crop rotation, the use of perennial grasses for fodder conservation and advancements in cattle feeding.
