StartUpAcademia was established as a structural unit of Omsky Biocluster in order to facilitate the commercialization of Omsk start-ups. Forms of assistance: project structuring, assistance with application documentation, organisation of communication with Russian and foreign institutions of development and private investors.

“Omsk is a city of students and science. Recent start-up selection tours of Innovations Assistance Fund, which were held at Omsk SAU and Omsk Scientific Centre SB RAS (Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences) in 2016, have yet again proved the diligence of youth in creating capital investment projects, notably, for the most part on the basis of their own innovative developments. However, start-up authors need some assistance - not everyone has the required competences in law, economics and finance, marketing and other fields which are essential for team building and finally for a story of success. This was basically the reason StartUpAcademia emerged to serve as a point for consultations and communication with potential investors, which will have an access to the regularly updating bank of projects."
