October 31, 2017 the Omsky Biocluster's 'Genetics and Breeding of Cattle Practice' with the support of the All-Russian public organization 'BUSINESS RUSSIA' at the production site of SIBAGROCOMPLEX Group (member of Omsky Biocluster) organized the 2nd track of the Winter Session of the Interregional Program 'Effective Animal Husbandry' by theme 'Organization of Effective Cattle Feeding'. Leading specialists of enterprises producing high-quality products for feeding farm animals, fodder preparation and consulting support for consumers on the optimization of animal feeding were invited: Titan-Agro LLC (member of Omsky Biocluster), Sibbiofarm LLC, BioPro JSC.
Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of Omsk region Alexander Kurzanov, heads and specialists of agricultural enterprises of Omsk and Novosibirsk regions, Agrarian Center of Tomsk region, Omsk State Agrarian University took part in the interregional conference. The conference highlights current issues of improving the quality of harvested feed, preventing diseases and metabolic disorders associated with feeding, as well as the efficiency of using mixed fodders in dairy cattle.
Experts, who have rich practical experience in animal husbandry, expressed their opinion on ways to solve problem questions in feeding, and also offered topical questions for the following activities of this direction. Chief livestock specialist of Elitnoe FSUE Alexander Ovsyannikov:
"I think that events of this kind should be held regularly, as life flows, people's opinions change, new information appears. The positive of this event was the opportunity not only to listen to people, but to express their own opinion. Truth, albeit not in the final instance, is born in a discussion between people who have different experiences and knowledge."
