Omsky Biocluster discussed issues of science development

September 20, within the framework of the Center for Monitoring of Technological Modernization and Research and Technological Development of the All-Russian People's Front, a panel discussion was held devoted to the development of R & D in Omsk region in the context of Presidential Decree No. 204 of May 7, 2018 "On National Purposes and Strategic Development Challenges of the Russian Federation for the period until 2024". The moderators of the panel discussion were Vitaly Aleshchenko, Ph.D., coordinator of the Monitoring Center for Technological Modernization and Researchand Technological Development of the All-Russian People's Front in Omsk region, and Valery Karpov, Ph.D., Chairman of the Omsk Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Siberian Branch (member of Omsky Biocluster).

 

Participants of the event noted the special importance of the formation of research and production chains in the preparation of strategic plans for basic research. In particular, the applied nature of R & D, the presence of an industrial partner interested in the practical application of research results with the subsequent commercialization of developments. Today, Omsky Biocluster members already create communications between R & D institutions and industrial companies. Our ultimate goal is to bring to the Russian market breakthrough technologies that will allow Russia to take the place of a technological leader in specific niches of the world economy.
