A protocol of intent was signed with the company Gruup International

December 8, 2016 during the IV International Conference 'Foreign Economic Activity as a Factor of Effective Development of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises in the Regions of the Russian Federation', a Protocol of Intentions was signed between Omsky Biocluster Association and the company Gruup International (Bulgaria).

Parties agreed to consider the possibility of creating production facilities in Omsk region to produce import-substituting products. Bulgarian side considers not only the supply of technologies and equipment, but also investments in new business.

Krasimir Saikov, representative of Gruup International:

"We with colleagues from Omsky Biocluster are interested in processing milk produced on farms in Omsk region. Gruup International is the current producer of traditional Bulgarian cheese 'Kashkaval' and 'Bulgarian' cheese. We guess that the quality characteristics of Omsk milk meet all the requirements for the production of our products. Believe me, Bulgarian business is interested in the Russian market, we are really interested in the implementation of new investment projects with Russian companies. Today Governor of Omsk region in his speech invited us, all foreign companies for cooperation, noting the possibility of using measures of state support to the projects with the participation of foreign capital.”

Bulgarian businessmen visited Omsky Biocluster enterprises and agreed to study the issue of exporting Omsk enterprises to Bulgaria.
