Rosselkhozbank (RusAg) intends to allocate about 1.2 trillion rubles for lending to the agro-industrial complex in 2017, said Dmitry Patrushev, chairman of the board of the bank in an interview to Rossiya 24.
Rosselkhozbank traditionally became a partner of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum - the largest business event in Russia - and presented its exposition at the forum. Rosselkhozbank at the Forum plans to sign cooperation agreements with the regions of the Russian Federation, representatives of large domestic and foreign businesses from various sectors of the economy, which will be directed to implement investment projects in the agro-industrial complex, in particular, in animal husbandry and hothouse vegetable growing. Dmitry Patrushev talked about the planned investment projects for the construction of greenhouse complexes in the Leningrad Region and the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a complex for the production and deep processing of pork in Primorsky Territory. Rosselkhozbank increased its lending to the agro-industrial complex of Russia by 62% in 2016, providing 1.03 trillion rubles to agrarians.
