The volume of funds provided by the Russian Agricultural Bank (Omsk branch is a member of Omsky Biocluster) to agricultural producers within the soft loan mechanism reached 100 billion rubles ($ 1738.07 million). RusAg is the key partner of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia for this program, providing the bulk of soft loans at a rate of no more than 5% p.a.
A large amount of funds (about 30%) was provided by RusAg for the development of crop production, which contributed to the overall intensification of this sphere and, as a result, to increase the yield of cereals and legumes in 2017. According to the forecasts of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, the harvest of the current year may become a record for the last 100 years and amount to about 130 million tons.
