As of September 20 from the beginning of the current year, the Russian Agricultural Bank, Omsk branch (member of Omsky Biocluster) allocated over 3 billion rubles for the sowing campaign and harvesting campaign in Omsk region. The Bank's credit resources were used by 150 agricultural enterprises, including both large agro-farms of the region, and representatives of small and micro-business. More than 100 of them used a preferential loan program at a rate of no more than 5% per annum.
The borrowed funds allowed the agrarians to purchase seeds and plant protection products, mineral fertilizers, fuels and lubricants, as well as to solve other current tasks for the timely conduct of seasonal work.
"RusAg maintains leading positions in financing the agro-industrial complex of the region. The share of the Omsk branch in crediting seasonal work in Omsk region is 94% of the total," said the director of RusAg (Omsk branch) Lev Yaneev. "We expect that we will be able to provide support to farmers and next year at the level of not lower than this year."
