RusAg partners. Skif LLC: elements of a record harvest

This year, Russia has already received a record amount of grain in the history of harvesting - 134 million tons. Omsk agrarians made their contribution to the overall achievement, and the financial support of Russian Agricultural Bank (Omsk branch is a member of Omsky Biocluster) helped the successful holding of seasonal works in Omsk region.

A high yield of grain and leguminous crops was obtained in one of the large farms of Tavrichesky district of Omsk region - Skif LLC. This year the enterprise has threshed more than 7,2 thousand tons of grain, including 6,5 thousand tons of wheat. Grain yield in some fields of Skif LLC reached 40 c / ha, on average in the farm - 26.6 c / ha. The yield of wheat was 28.8 c / ha.

Skif, formed in 2000 as a construction company, is no longer engaged in construction. The main activity is crop production (cereals and legumes). The main crop is wheat, and the company also grows chickpeas, lentils, soybeans, peas.

The guarantee of a good harvest is a quality seed fund. This year the fields of the enterprise were sown with wheat seeds RS-1 "Omskaya-38". The variety possesses high productivity, resistance to diseases, forms high-quality grain. All seeds and crops processed in early spring.

Special attention is paid to the technical equipment in the farm. The fleet of the company is constantly updated. The fields of the enterprise are processed by modern machinery: DMS seeding complexes, Vector harvesters, New Holland tractors, MTZ-89 and K-744 tractors.

Viktor Kiselev, director of Skif LLC, shares:

"We are making effort to achieve a good harvest. We try to apply the latest achievements of agriculture, and this is always serious money. Loans are being secured. This year, we took in RusAg two preferential loans at a rate of 5% per annum, for spring field work and for the purchase of equipment. This allowed us to make timely herbicides, stock up on fuel for the entire time of seasonal work and purchase two disc harrows. Next year, we plan to apply to this bank again. "
