Russian Agricultural Bank (the Omsk branch is member of Omsky Biocluster) has provided borrowed funds for the construction of Bolshevik Cattle-Breeding Complex in Poltavsky district and Tritikum Dairy Farm in Cherlaksky district.
The total cost of Bolshevik investment project is 255 million rubles ($ 4.36 million), of which 145 million rubles ($ 2.48 million) are credit investments of RusAg. The funds are directed to the construction of the complex and the acquisition of equipment. Commissioning of the complex is scheduled for November 2017. The enterprise after the implementation of the investment project plans to reach a new level of dairy production up to 3500 tons of milk per year. Construction and equipment of a dairy farm for 520 heads with a milking parlor will cost Tritikum Farm 174 million rubles ($ 2.98 million). More than 70% of the cost of the project is provided to the farm by RusAg in the concessional lending. Commissioning of the complex is scheduled for the end of October 2017.
"Increasing the production of milk and other livestock products is one of the priorities of the agro-industrial complex of the region," said Director of the Omsk branch of RusAg Lev Yaneev. "The commissioning of high-tech livestock complexes will promote the growth of dairy products in Omsk region, as well as the creation of additional jobs in the rural terrain".
