In September the Rosselkhoznadzor held a meeting in Vladivostok with representatives of two Korean departments - the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Maritime Affairs.
The Russian side asked to allow the supply of ready-made meat products from the Russian Federation to the Republic of Korea, since this type of product is classified as low-risk products for animal diseases. Koreans responded that an official appeal to the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs of the country and the Ministry of Food Safety and Medicines is needed.
In the near future, Rosselkhoznadzor will send the request, it is noted on its website. The parties also agreed that by January 1, 2018, the procedure for processing cargo under the health certificate for the export of fish and seafood from Russia to Korea will be completed.
