Russian authorities will allow to export grain from an intervention fund

The Ministry of Agriculture prepared a draft resolution permitting the export of grain from the intervention fund, writes Kommersant.

The decision on the sale will be made taking into account the pace of harvesting and the conjuncture of the world and domestic markets. Supplies of grain reserves abroad will avoid additional pressure on prices in the country. A source in the United Grain Company notes that the share of grain in the 2008-2013 crop In the intervention fund is estimated at 13.3%, or 532.8 thousand tons. It costs 2.6 billion rubles. It is expected that the decree will enter into force in September.
