Prospects for the development of Russian-Bahraini cooperation in the agroindustry complex were discussed at the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry during a meeting with the delegation of the Kingdom of Bahrain. The organizers were the Russian-Bahraini and Bahraini-Russian business councils. The Bahraini delegation was headed by a member of the board of the Chamber of Commerce of Bahrain - the chairman of the food committee Khaled Ali Rashed Al-Amin.
Created this year, the Russian-Bahraini Intergovernmental Commission will become an effective mechanism in the development of bilateral trade and economic ties. The Commission was headed by the ministers of industry and trade of both states, which testifies to Russia's serious attitude to development and intensification of cooperation with Bahrain.
Bahrain also aims to develop trade and economic relations with Russia. According to the latest estimates of experts, the trade turnover between the countries is about 10 million dollars. "Our goal is to increase this amount to at least $ 100 million," said Khaled Ali Rashed Al-Amin.
The parties also discussed in detail the possibilities of investing in agricultural infrastructure, innovative technologies in the clean drinking water production, acoustic freezing of products, the use of drones in agriculture, the blockchain of the ecosystem for Bahrain.
