At the Interpack 2017 held in Germany in May 2017, Russian companies engaged in food machinery were able to conclude 44 preliminary contracts (a total amount of more than 100 million rubles - $ 1.75 million) and 7 contracts for the supply of packaging equipment to countries such as Spain, Saudi Arabia, Peru, Indonesia, as well as the CIS countries.
The pavilion representing Russia was organized on the initiative of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia. Support was provided by Rosspetsmash and the Russian Export Center. Exhibitors were shown 20 types of packaging machines and equipment from seven companies from Russia.
