The total volume of production of Russian food machine-building companies in 2017 will exceed 15 billion rubles ($ 261.19 million), which will be a record for the last 10-15 years. For seven months of 2017 the share of domestic producers in the domestic market has reached 21%, which is also a record.
This was stated by Evgeny Korchevoy, Director of the Department of Agricultural, Food and Road-Building Machinery Industry of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, at a press conference dedicated to the international exhibition AGROPRODMASH-2017.
"This is certainly the merit of our factories, because the buyer studies the cost by selecting products. Russian factories invest in production, improve the quality of machines and equipment, produce new modern models," said Evgeny Korchevoy.
