Russian regions are ready to provide their areas for pilot projects to create organic farms for the production of grain (Izvestia referring to the president of the National Union of Grain Producers Pavel Skurikhin).
The law on organic farming was developed by the Federation Council and should soon be submitted to the State Duma. The president of the National Union of Grain Producers Pavel Skurikhin believes that Belgorod and Voronezh regions can implement pilot projects for transferring agricultural enterprises that carry out traditional production to organic farming. According to him, positive answers were also received from the Moscow and Lipetsk regions.
"To solve this problem, it is planned to attract European and Russian experts who have many years of experience in implementing similar projects in the EU countries, as well as directly carrying out the production of organic products on their own lands and areas of partners that have implemented profitable organic farming," Skurikhin said.
