If in June the consumption of cookies, wafers and other flour confectionery products for long storage periods was 9.4 kg / person. per year, then in July-December it can grow up to 9.5-9.6 kg / person.

 

As for consumption of cakes and pastries, on average in Russia it will be at the level of 2-2,1 kg / person. Caramel consumption will remain at the level of 1.2-1.3 kg / person.

 

According to experts, after two crisis years, consumer habits are gradually recovering. In addition, since the beginning of the year, retail prices for confectionery products have almost stopped growing. A good harvest of agricultural crops is expected, in particular sunflower, raw materials for confectioners cheaper. The cost price of some sweets is reduced, consumer prices are adjusted.
