At the end of July 2017, the plant protection specialist Omsk Reference Center of Rosselkhoznadzor (member of Omsky Biocluster) Valentina Krivko made a report 'Phytosanitary situation on potatoes and vegetable crops in 2017' at a seminar on vegetable and potato growing in the framework of 'AgroOmsk-2017'.
Seminar participants visited two enterprises engaged in growing vegetables and potatoes. Agrokultura LLC (Druzhino, Omsk district) is engaged in growing vegetables in sheltered soil (tomatoes, cucumbers, salad, etc.), peasant farming Chuchmar (Omsk district) grows potatoes. The workshop participants were also addressed by Alexander Cheremisin, Head of the Department of Potato Farming of SibNIISKh, with the report 'The state of planting potatoes in 2017 on the territory of Omsk region.'
