The school of the young innovator Agro+ was held December 15, 2016 in Omsk State Agrarian University (OmSAU) in the framework of the meeting of the participants of Agricultural Education Association of Omsk region and the Winter Session of the StartUpAcademia (with the support of Omsky Biocluster Association). The purpose of the School was to stimulate the project and entrepreneurial activity of students of educational organizations in Omsk region, training personnel for the agricultural sector. The School was attended by 29 people from 5 educational institutions of Agricultural Education Association.
The opening of the School was conducted by the pro-rector on scientific work of OmSAU, Ph.D. Vitaly Aleshchenko. Participants were divided into 5 teams in 4 directions: crop production, livestock, products and technologies of crop processing, products and technologies for processing livestock. Teams in real time had to formulate the theme of an innovative project, conduct market analysis, competitors, develop a business model, prepare a presentation of their project.
Mentor's help in the formation of projects was provided to the children by: vice-rector for scientific work of OmSAU, Ph.D. Vitaly Aleshchenko; Head of StartUpAcademia, Associate Professor of Technical Service, Mechanics and Electrical Engineers Department of OmSAU, Ph.D. Dmitry Algazin; Senior Lecturer of the Department of Agrochemistry and Soil Science of the Faculty of Agrochemistry, Soil Science, Ecology, Environmental Engineering and Water Management, OmSAU, Ph.D. Marat Shayakhmetov; Associate Professor of the Department of Ecology, Nature Management and Biology, Faculty of Agrochemistry, Soil Science, Ecology, Environmental Management and Water Management, OmSAU, Ph.D. Natalia Tishchenko; Master student of OmSAU Dmitry Kazakov.
The result of the school was the public protection of projects in front of a broad audience. The jury consisted of heads of educational institutions, members of Agricultural Education Association. After the calculation, three leading teams were determined who were awarded diplomas.
Diploma of the first degree awarded team Meat Tale with the project Functional Ingredients in the Meat Industry. Diploma of the second degree has received the command Сorn with Prolonged fertilizer project. Third-degree diploma earned team Techno+ from Development of Technology of Whey Processing project.
