Representatives of agricultural, construction, road and food machinery, deputies of the State Duma's profile committees proposed during the parliamentary hearings on October 16 to provide 22.5 billion rubles ($ 391 million) in the federal budget for 2018-2020 annually to subsidize the manufacturers of specialized equipment.
"The development of specialized machine building requires systemic and predictable state support, therefore, the deputies should provide 15 billion rubles ($ 260 million) in the federal budget for the next three years for subsidies to producers of agricultural machinery, subsidizing the leasing of construction and road machinery 5 billion rubles ($ 87 million) , subsidies to manufacturers of food engineering 2.5 billion rubles ($ 43 million)", said the president of the Rosspetsmash Association Konstantin Babkin.
According to him, these are the first hearings for the State Duma, entirely devoted to the development of key branches of specialized machine building. Industrial enterprises count on the support of deputies in resolving urgent issues.
