April 17 - 21, 2017, Titan-Agro LLC (participant of Omsky Biocluster) joined the action of the Russian Union of Machine Builders 'Week without turnstiles'. Schoolchildren and students of higher and secondary professional educational institutions took part in the action.
Two groups of students of Omsk State Pedagogical University (OmSPU), as well as pupils of the 10th class of Petrovsky School of the Omsk Municipal District visited Pushkinsky Feed Mill Titan-Agro LLC. The enterprise prepared for the guests routes that included an obligatory visit to the corporate museum. The students of the pedagogical university visited the excursion 'from grain to produce' at the production building of Pushkinsky Feed Mill Titan-Agro LLC, and also could see with their own eyes the level of the equipment of the laboratory of the enterprise. Also, the specialists of "Titan-Agro" spoke in detail about the organization of the work process, the daily routine, the requirements for job seekers and the level of wages.
"A modern technology teacher needs to know the latest production. Here we got acquainted with the work of an automated production management system, see the whole technological process," said Elena Zakharova, head of the department of technology and methodology of teaching technology of OmSPU. "Students will use this knowledge within a few disciplines of the technology cycle."
The excursion program for pupils of Petrovsky School was supplemented with the lesson 'Myths about Chemistry'. In addition, before the visit of Pushkinsky Feed Mill Titan-Agro LLC in the vocational guidance, the students were shown a video film telling about the profession of the machine operator feed mill. In the year 10-12 excursions with participation of more than two hundred schoolchildren and students take place in Titan Group.
