The Collective Use Center was established

August 29, 2017, Agreement on the Omsky Biocluster's Collective Use Center establishment was signed. The founders of the Center became Omsky Biocluster, Omsk State Agrarian University, Omsk Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Siberian Branch), Omsk Reference Center of Rosselkhoznadzor and Agrochemical Service Center Omsky.

 

The Collective Use Center participants agreed to create a laboratory equipment single database within the Omsky Biocluster website. The information will include the name of the cluster member - the owner of the equipment, describing the main characteristics of the equipment and the laboratory services provided with its use. At present, the CUC participants  are coordinating the vizualization format, as well as the formation of a single database.

 

Valery Karpov, Chairman of Omsk Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Siberian Branch (member of Omsky Biocluster):

"The need for a single database creating has been around for a long time. The cluster institutions have a variety of laboratory equipment. Industrial enterprises of the cluster, R & D subjects have a need for conducting laboratory research. The CUC will provide expert advice on the location of the equipment needed for research. My colleagues and I believe that the CUC will begin its work in the Q4 2017."
