The annual meeting of the Omsky Biocluster members was held

June 29, 2017, the annual meeting of the Omsky Biocluster members was held. The meeting was attended by members of Omsky Biocluster Association, heads of the executive bodies of Omsk region: Minister of Agriculture and Food of Omsk region Maksim Chekusov, Minister of Economy of Omsk region Oksana Fadina, Minister of Industry, Transport and Innovative Technologies of Omsk region Aleksander Dokuchaev.

 

In the first part, the meeting considered organizational issues. Yury Sutyaginsky was elected Chairman of the General Meeting, Oksana Shumakova was elected as its Vice-Chairman. As a result of the meeting, the composition of the executive and auditing bodies of Omsky Biocluster Association was formed.

 

The main part of the meeting was devoted to the information of the Minister of Economy Oksana Fadina on the further methodology of implementing cluster investment projects in Omsk region. "The result of the joint work of the Government of Omsk region and Omsky Biocluster should be the Program, which will include the necessary set of measures to support the investment projects of cluster members. Support measures should be aimed at addressing specific issues that impede the implementation of new investment projects," Oksana Fadina said.

 

The Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Omsk region Maksim Chekusov told the meeting about his consultations in the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia:
"We discussed with the colleagues from the Ministry of Industry and Trade the issues of financing the Omsky Biocluster projects. This possibility exists, the Ministry of Industry and Trade is ready to allocate appropriations under the 41st resolution. Our task is to structure projects and submit an application in accordance with the law."

 

The enterprises participating in Omsky Biocluster supported the creation of the Program for the implementation of cluster investment projects on the principles of de-bureaucratization of the legal mechanisms of state support and appropriations in the regional budget. "The Program, if approved, can become a real link in public-private partnership, the actual implementation of the Program will be realized by all participants - both business and the state. Business is ready to fulfill its part of the work," said the Chairman of the Directors Board of Sladonezh JSC Igor Znamenskykh.

 

Members of Omsky Biocluster Association and heads of executive authorities of the region agreed on further concrete steps to develop and agree on the activities of the Program.
